Abstract: This paper is concerned with the problem of automatically generating syntax-directed editors Its stress is on presenting the GJD system (which is a syntax-directed editor generating system researched and implemented by the authors under UNIX system) and the STODPET (which is a series of syntax-directed editors generated by the GJD system). The basic structure and implementation way of the GJD system are given.
