Abstract: This paper introduces a wide area network based on DECnet-VAX computer. It may be called a compositive informatim system. The system consists of linking NEC ACOS and other hetcrogeneous computers into the system, text processing, point to point real-time conversation between terminals, file transportation. the emulation of NEC PC-9801 as a host's terminal and so on. This paper describes the main functions and implementation techniques.
