Abstract: The strategies of data administration (DA) for CIM are presented. The fundamental concepts of data administration in CIMS environment, such as global data, local data and two key functions of DA are discussed from the point of view of CIM information integration The contents of general DA planning are described. They are requirement analyzing, architecture of DA system,vendor selecting and DBMS, and transfer strategies among distributed heterogeneons data management systems. A suggestion of developing and implementing the integration standardization for GD is proposed.
