网络设计与研究集成环境的设计与实现
DESIGNING AND IMPLEMENTING THE INTEGRATED NETWORK DESIGN AND RESEARCH ENVIRONMENT

摘要: 在计算机网络研究中 ,仿真是一种快速而经济的重要研究手段 .仿真技术应用在网络协议研究 ,虽然已有了很多有意义的成果 ,但尚缺乏提供网络研究和设计、用户友好的综合环境和工具 .而仿真的分布性、交互性以及应用的集成化 ,是网络仿真技术应用的新趋势 .主要描述了可视化网络设计与研究集成环境 (Integrated NetworkDesign and Research Environm ent,INDRE)的系统结构 ,并探讨了实现中 3方面的问题 :1提供可视化网络建模 ,解决具有语义和重用性的网络拓扑可视化产生的问题 ;2实现可伸缩性的数据采集 ;3仿真输出数据自动与定制分析处理Abstract: Simulation is a vital tool to quickly and inexpensively explore the behavior of the network. Little progress has been made in the integrated and friendly environments and tools of network research and design using simulation while there are a lot achievements in network protocol research. And distribution, interaction and integration are the most notable three trends of simulation application in network. In this paper, the architecture of the Integrated Network Design and Research Environment (INDRE) is proposed. The solutions of the three aspects of network simulation are illustrated: ① strategies of visual modeling, and reusable network topologies models with semantic content; ② scalable data collection; ③ automatic statistics and analysis of the resulting data.
