    基于向量时间的因果序通信协议的研究与设计

    RESEARCH AND DESIGN OF THE CAUSAL ORDER COMMUNICATION PROTOCOL BASED ON THE VECTOR TIME

    • 摘要: 对于一个由多个成员组成的分布式应用如 CSCW、副本数据库应用等来说 ,一个成员为了完成其所承担的任务 ,通常不仅要给其它成员发送组播消息 ,而且还要给某个或某些成员发送单播消息 ,并且这些消息形成了一种相互依赖的因果序关系 .为了有效地支持成员之间的交互及分布式应用的开发 ,提出了一个新的基于向量时间的因果序单播、组播混合通信协议—— CR UMcast协议 .该协议允许组成员既可以发送组播消息 ,又可以发送单播消息 ,并且保证按它们之间的因果优先顺序进行传递 .

       

      Abstract: A distributed application consists of one or many members, such as CSCW or backup database application. In order to complete its tasks, one member usually not only sends multicast messages to other members, but also sends unicast messages to one or some members, and these messages form a causal dependence order relation. In order to support the communication between the group members and to support the development of the distributed applications, a new causal order unicast and multicast mixed communication protocol CR UMcast based on the vector time is proposed in this paper. This protocol allows the group members to send both multicast messages and unicast messages, and ensures the delivery of these messages in their causal precedence order.
