    利用RSVP隧道高效实现INTERNET的服务质量请求

    ACHIEVING QoS REQUEST EFFICIENTLY FOR THE INTERNET BY USING RSVP TUNNEL

    • 摘要: 在INTERNET上应用RSVP时,新增通信量和时空开销问题是RSVP研究的关键问题之一.文中提出了利用RSVP隧道和QoS请求聚合体解决此问题的方案,核心内容是:QoS请求聚合体代表多个具有指定特征的RSVP会话消息,隧道段的路由器的RSVP模块对聚合体会话消息设置软状态而不理会构成聚合体的单个会话消息,构成聚合体的每一个RSVP会话消息被封装后以普通数据包形式通过隧道段.文中具体定义了RSVP隧道和QoS请求聚合体,研究了它们的构造和不同类消息包的传递和处理.对比评价说明,利用此方案能高效实现基于RSVP的QoS请求

       

      Abstract: Extra traffic as well as overhead of time and space produced by RSVP entities is one of the key problems in RSVP implementation in a Internet environment. A scheme is put forward to solve this problem through RSVP tunnel and QoS request aggregation in this paper. The essential idea of the scheme is as follows: an aggregation represents a number of messages of RSVP sessions with specific character, The RSVP module of router in a tunnel segment set soft states for the aggregation’s message and do nothing for individual messages of RSVP sessions, each message of RSVP session are encapsulated and propagated through the tunnel. RSVP tunnel and QoS request aggregation are defined and their construction are studied. The procedure of forwarding messages of different classes are described. Comparison and evaluation show that QoS requests can be achieved in an efficient way by using this scheme.
