Abstract: In this paper,image skeleton transform is studied and a class of morphological distance is defined in order to obtain the special structure elements of the image skeleton transform with rotation invariant performances. The skeleton transform based on these structure elements is efficient, and it can be widely used in the field of pattern recognition and vision matching.
