Abstract: Based on the analysis of typical IP traceback techniques, a new IP traceback algorithm NA is presented, which combines advanced marking schemes（AMS） with node marking schemes NA achieves results with even higher precision, while sustaining smaller overhead and higher efficiency compared with the IP tracback algorithm AMS Analysis of NA and simulation results are also given in detail
