    一种基于分发树切分的多播聚集方案

    A Scheme for Aggregated Multicast Based-on Tree Splitting

    • 摘要: 当网络中存在大量的并发多播组时 ,IP多播将由于路由状态信息爆炸以及控制信息爆炸而面临严重的扩展性问题 在主干网中 ,可能有更多的组穿越主干网 ,这种状态可扩展性问题尤为严重 为了提高主干网中多播状态的可扩展性 ,提出了一种利用聚集多播概念的、基于数据分发树切分的聚集多播方案———AMBTS(aggregatedmulticastbased ontreesplitting) 通过理论分析和仿真实验显示 ,AMBTS可以更好地改善状态可扩展性 :网络中需要维护的聚集树数目能够限制在一个预先确定的、较小的数之内 ,同时 ,多播路由表项数目亦有显著地减少

       

      Abstract: IP multicast confronts a severe scalability problem when there are large numbers of active multicast groups in the network due to state explosion and control explosion. In backbone networks, this state scalability problem is exacerbated, since there are potentially enormous multicast groups crossing backbone domains. To improve the state scalability of multicast in backbone domains, a novel scheme, called AMBTS(aggregated multicast based-on tree splitting) is proposed, which uses the concept of aggregated multicast, and employs spanning tree splitting before aggregating. Through analyses and simulations, it is shown that AMBTS can greatly improve state scalability: the number of aggregated trees is bounded in a small fixed number, and the multicast routing entries in transit nodes can be dramatically decreased.
