Abstract: This paper analyzes the difficulties in retrieving class libraries, with emphasis on the methods to compare target classes needed by users with candidate classes in a class library. A fuzzy method to evaluate the similarity between the two classes is proposed and a tool based on an associative net for retrieving classes from class libraries is presented.
