Abstract: The HPT372A multifunction interface control chip is a large scale application specific integrated circuit, which has been designed and emulation verified. Based on the experience of designing and implementing the HPT372A, the advanced design theory and methodology are discussed, and some design methods and strategies of the system on a chip are presented.
