    BH_GRAPH: A Real Time 3D Graphics Platform

    • 摘要: BH_GRAPH是一个面向视景仿真类应用系统开发人员、支持实时三维图形开发与运行的基础软件平台.它提供可扩展的软件体系结构、标准化的场景管理机制、高效率的场景处理方法、方便易用的应用程序接口,为三维图形应用系统的快速开发、高效运行提供完整的技术支撑. BH_GRAPH主要由三维视景绘制引擎、三维对象建模工具、三维场景布置工具以及一系列关键技术构成.概要介绍了BH_GRAPH各主要组成部分的软件结构、基本功能和技术特点.

       

      Abstract: BH_GRAPH, developed by the Virtual Reality Laboratory of Beihang University, is a high-performance real time 3D graphics platform for simulation system developers. Not only does this platform support extendable software architecture and standard scene management mechanism, but also it provides high efficient scene rendering method and convenient application programming interfaces. BH_GRAPH can greatly accelerate the development of 3D graphics application system and provide comprehensive technique supports for its efficient running. BH_GRAPH is composed of three core components: 3D graphics rendering engine, 3D object model modeling tool and 3D scenes editor. Current dominant techniques about rendering and modeling are involved and implemented in this platform, including real time shadow, high dynamic range material, large-scale terrain rendering and management, GPU based particle system, swingable tree and the real time rendering of tens of millions of surfaces. An overview of BH_GRAPH is given and then the architecture, main functions and relating key techniques of the three component tools are introduced in detail.
