Kernel Design for a Guest Distributed Operating System

Current PC networks provide natural distributed processing function, but lack power for processing larger tasks. We can develop an integrated operating system to solve this problem. Taking the Ethernet-like network, 3comethernet, as an example to explain the design strategies for the integrated operating system, this paper analyzes the necessary functions and constrained factors for realizing a secure and reliable kernel, and gives an overall design of the kernel. Finally, we assure readers of validity and correctness of the kernel.
