WEB2DB:A VERSATILE WWW INTERFACE FOR DATABASES

A versatile WWW interface system for databases is proposed in the paper.The system provides a virtual CGI interface that application designers can use to access databases efficiently.The interface overcomes the disadvantages of traditional CGI methods and integrates general databases with WWW which has a hypermedia architecture.
