THE TRIGGER MECHANISM IN A REAL TIME ACTVE DATABASE

This paper presents a trigger mechanism in a real time active database system, including the concepts,structures and specifications, and the monitoring and execution model of triggers This trigger mechanism unifies the semantics and the monitoring of timing and other constraints/conditions required by real time applications and database integrity /consistency constraints And therefore it supports strongly the active and real time properties of the system
