PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS OF PPMB SYSTEMS WITH A HIERARCHICAL REQUESTING MODEL

This paper analyzes in detail the performance of PPMB systems under a hierarchical requesting model.The effective memory bandwidth is chosen as the performance measure. A mathematical model is developed to compute the performance related to the effective memory bandwidth. The derived model is compared with the existing models.
