Fault Tolerance in Distributed Languages

Along with the development of distributed systems, the fault tolerance in the system has become a very significant problem. So, how to combine the computing model of distributed languages with fault tolerance, and to make distributed languages support fault tolerance is a valuable subject in theory and practice. This paper surveys the development in this area, presents and discusses some problems concerned.
