STUDY OF LIGHTWEIGHT DIRECTORY ACCESS PROTOCOLS AND SYSTEM IMPLEMENTATION

X 500 directory service is an important network application service.However,X 500 DAP requires the support of the whole set of OSI protocols.Its overhead limits the widespread use of X 500 directory service.Lightweight directory access protocols can overcome this problem.Internet lightweight directory access protocols are analyzed,and the design principles and implementation of a client/server based lightweight directory access system are described.
