RESEARCH ON THE CORBA/WEBOLTP BASED PRODUCT DATA MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

With the increasing market competition, and the rapid development of computer and network technology, especially Internet/Intranet technology, enterprises have to take up the new management style, organization architecture, and decision making criteria, so as to increase the competition ability. First analyzed are the chances and challenges in front of enterprises, and the importance of good product management. Then it is shown that the CORBA/WebOLTP based PDMS （product data management system） can meet the newly emerging requirement, and can improve the level of product management efficiently. And the feasible architecture of the CORBA/WebOLTP\|based PDMS is proposed on the basis of the research on CORBA and Web technology. Finally the implementation details of system and its key technology are analyzed.
