A Dependent And-Parallel Execution Model for Logic Programs

This paper presents a new and-parallel execution model （DAPM） for logic programs.which can support dependent and-parallel execution.The method used is to build a synchronization mechanism among shared variables so that the binding conflict can be avoided in the parallel execution.Compared with other and parallel models,DAPM can expioit more and-parallelism.The theoretic analysis shows that DAPM only needs very little run time support.
