First Packet Queuing Phenomena After the Bottleneck Link in the Packet Pair Algorithm

In this paper, the basic packet pair bandwidth measurement algorithm is analyzed and a theoretic proving process of the algorithm is proposed From the proving process and theoretic analysis, it is found that there exists a traffic interference named first packet queuing phenomena on the links after the bottleneck link This interference is observed and analyzed in the real packet pair bandwidth measurement Finally, an optimization policy is adopted and implemented to deal with this interference
