NETWORK INTERFACE TECHNIQUES IN MULTICOMPUTERS

Processor network interface is crucial to the performance of a multicomputer system. In this paper, we address the issues in the current network interfaces, and propose a new interface, which not only improves the network performance greatly, but also supports high level operations such as gather and scatter efficiently.
