The reduction semantics for programming languages in Garment is studied with an algebraic approach.The meaning of the reduction semantics in formal language theory is explained.And then an algebraic model for programming languages in Garment is proposed.The reduction semantics and its properties are discussed by using the algebraic model.Finally the sufficient conditions for reducible languages are given.
