A PATH BASED SCHEDULING ALGORITHM

Operation scheduling is the most important task in high level synthesis. A path based operation scheduling algorithm is presented. It can deal with conditional construct and loop construct at the same time. The number of control steps for each path in CDFG can be minimized when this algorithm is applied. The experimental results show that this algorithm is very suitable for microprocessor design and control dominated designs.
