AN INTELLIGENT SECURITY MONITORING SYSTEM UNDER NETWORK ENVIRONMENT

An on-line security monitoring system （OSMIS） is presented in this paper.The object systems monitored by OSMIS is oriented to networked multi-user systems.OSMIS hardware/software structure, data-transfer procedure through network, security policy and OSMIS detection model, the principles of choosing security policies of anobject system, and typical security policies of VAX/VMS systems are all introduced.
