The Message-Passing Techniques in Multicomputers

In this paper, we review the development of message-passing technique in past few decades, and introduce the major achievements obtained so far, such as wormhole routing and virtual channel flow control. In the end, we offer our proposals in the future study of massage-passing techniques.
