Parallel Exploitation and Software Configuration Design of the KLND Abstract Machine KLND-AM

Abstract:This paper presents the parallelism exploitation and software configuration design of Kernel Language KLND'S abstract machine KLND-AM in the parallel infe- rence system NDPIS.The main characteristics of KLND-AM are as follows:(1)The parallel exploitation strategy and theoretical execution model have the advantages of lower overhead and simpler control.(2)The substitution-driven computation organiza- tion and the base-instruction system are effective to solve the nondeterminism problems caused by the unification mechanism.(3)The static parallelism analysis is effective to raise the inference speed.
