RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN DENSITY AND EQUALIZERS IN AN OPTICAL RECORDING CHANNEL
A theoretical optical recording readout model and a discrete channel model are established. The relationship between equalizers and the recording density is analyzed. It is demonstrated that the adoption of the feedback equalizer instead of the linear equalizer can improve the density about 50%.
