I/O RESPONSE TIME OF RAID IN DIFFERENT LOAD

I/O response time and the maximum throughput of RAID-5 under different I/O loads are calculated and analyzed in detail. Under a same application condition, the I/O response time is shorter and the throughput is larger when the number of disks to construct RAID is more. I/O response time is shorter also when the probability of read command or sequence read/write command is larger.
