COMMUNICATION AND TASK DECOMPOSITION ON THE DISTRIBUTED PARALLELWROCESSOR BASED ON TRANSPUTER

Based on the architecture characteristics of a Multi-Transputer concurrentprocessing system, this paper analyzes channel communication on Transputer networkand the relation of task traffic overhead with job run efficiency. The rasults show thatthe job decomposition method and reasonable selection of task granularity and Transputer network topology for concurrent programming are the main reasons in relationshipwith traffic overhead and job run efficiency.
