RESEARCHES ON COMPUTER SUPPORTED COOPERATIVE DESIGN

There has been a considerable amount of research in the area of computer supported cooperative work （CSCW）. The key technologies of a CSCW system is discussed here. A cooperation agent as the kernel of the supporting platform of CSCW, and an information model of shared object based on hypermedia structure for cooperative design are proposed. The prototype system developed based on these ideas supports distributed cooperative design.
