An Effective Method of Detecting Curves and Its Applications

In this paper, a new method of detecting curves is proposed. The method is used for detecting curves which have certain width from images containing complicated background and noise. The key problems of the detection method are the search and tracking algorithms specially designed. The algorithms are briefly introduced and part of the experimental results are given.
