Structure Analysis of Expert Database System and Its Implementation

In this paper, the developed achievement and the future tendency of AI and DB is presented based on the combination of DB and ES in AI. A prototype is put forward: ES+DBMS=EDBS. The paper also discusses the structure of EDBS, explains the defects of the loosely-coupled structure, and concludes that it is the closely coupled structure that is of high quality. During analyzing and designing AMAEDBS （Aviation Map Analysis Expert Database System）, the author combines the Facts Base, the Intermediate Deducing Conclusions Base and the Analyzing Conclusions Base into a single base called "all-in-one" structure. The author thinks this structure is better than the close-coupled structure.
