Circulation Problems in Nonmonotonic Reason Maintenance System RMS

RMS is a reason maintenance system for the consistency preservation of nonmonotonic belief bases. This paper first introduces the system's formal model, and then, based on the model, discusses circulations' formal definitions, classified types, and a series of theorems in connexion with testing, types and satisfiability of circulations. Finally, the algorithms for testing and processing circulations are given.
