STUDY OF THE LOWER LAYER TECHNOLOGY AND MODEL REALIZATION FOR HIGH SPEED NETWORKS
After analyzing the media access control based on time slot in high speed networks, ATMB, a new method of the media access control based on slotted bus architecture, is proposed. ATMB performs the ATM network control by “busy/idle”and distributed reservation mechanisms. As a result,the interconnect model of a distributed high speed local network is designed.
