A DESCRIPTION OF TrueType FONT FILE STRUCTURE

With both the popularization of Windows 3.x and supporting TTF on Windows’ latestversion, the advantages of TrueType Font（TTF）are realized by more and more programmersand users. TTF is able to describe not only English characters but also Chinese characters. Thispaper completely analyses the TTF file structure and commentates some important description tables of TTF. The basic knowledge is presented for those who are interested in TTF.
