The Developing Strategy for Firmware Engineering

This paper briefly presents some of the microprogramming experiences,pointing out that one of the primary backgrounds for developing firmware engineering is the function migration of system software.In addition,this paper goes further into the current major research fields and directions of firmware engineering,and finally explores the present status of microprogramming and firmware engineering as well as practices in these fields in China.
