Balance Between Mixing Time-Delay and Amount of Mixer for Virtual Space Teleconferencing Systems

    • An important factor which needs to be considered in composing a virtual space teleconferencing system is the relation between the amount of the mixer and the mixing time delay The amount of the mixer can affect the system’s expense and the mixing time delay can affect the system’s ability of real time communication It is a contrary technology between reducing the mixing time delay and reducing the mixer’s quantity in VST Given in this paper is a method about selecting the mixer’s smallest quantity under the condition of permitting time delay in the VST, which can ensure that both high efficiency and lower price can be supported in the VST system
