FONT COMPOSITION USING CONVEX DECOMPOSING MORPHING

    • In this paper, a new method of Chinese or English font composition based on morphology is proposed by decomposing the Chinese characters into several individual sub\|convex\|sets, and mapping between two sub\|convex\|sets characters is constructed by means of general optimization relax iteration. The Minkowski addition of two sub\|convex\|sets with the mapping relationship is calculated, the result of two sub\|convex\|sets Minkowski addition is merged, and then the new fonts are generated. The principle of the algorithm is also proved. The different kinds of style font can be composed and generated through morphing Chinese font and calculating the Minkowski addition by selecting different structure elements. This method can solve the problem of non\|homotopy font composition. It is proved in the experiment that this method can generate multiple style and high quality fonts, and has a simple computation. This method can be used for dynamic Chinese font.
