MOVADP:A MULTIFIELD ORIENTED VISUALIZATION APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT PLATFORM

MOVADP is a multifield oriented visualization application development platform.Its software architecture and implementation techniques are described in detail. MOVADP owns a data flow kernel, a visual programming environment and extensible library. These provide users with a convenient interactive module level graphical programming environment. MOVADP has the following features:it introduces control structure, e.g., IF THEN ELSE and WHILE LOOP,to support conditional alternative structure and loop structure for building complex visualization application flow graph;it supports flow graph local running under the demand driven mode which is called lazy evaluation; it is an open environment and the module library is extensible; and it supports the parallel processing both on data and tasks.
