METHOD OF AUTOMATICALLY EXTRACTING MANAGEMENT INFORMATION FROM DWG FILE BASED ON ActiveX TECHNOLOGY

An introduction of ActiveX automation technology and the ActiveX automation interface of AutoCAD R14 is given in this paper, the solution of automatically extracting information from title block and list of materials of AutoCAD drawing are presented, and the source codes of core technology are listed. A software package implemented using such solution demonstrates its advantage in practice.
