STUDY OF LAWS OF WRITING DISTORTION OF HANDWRITING IN CHINESE CHARACTER RECOGNITION

The existing handwritten Chinese character recognition techniques have met the practical requirements of Kaiscript （ regular writing style）. However, the situation is far less satisfactory. Research on free script is nearly a blank space. An attempt is made to represent explicitly the intrinsic laws of writing distortion. Correspondingly, the recognition process is transformed to a calculation process of judging whether or not the input pattern is a valid writing distortion of a certain reference pattern.
