AN UNEVEN ALGORITHM FOR THE SUBDIVISION OF RATIONAL BE ′DD)〗ZIER CURVES
The de Castaljau algorithm has been applied to the subdivision of Bézier curves and surfaces. But in rational Bézier curves, when some control points have big weights, the even method of fixing t =1/2 proves to be ineffective.A new method of uneven subdivision and its effectiveness are presented in this paper.
