A Mapping Approach of Schema in a Federated Database System

After analysing the features of heterogeneity for a federated database system, this paper presents a mapping approach based on inport/export schema and conceptual schema, through which schema incompatibility problems can be solved effectively. Now the mapping approach has been used to develop a federated database system SU-FDBS.
