RESEARCH AND IMPLEMENTATION OF FEATURE CALCULATION OF THREE LATITUDE OF BODY

A scheme for calculating the feature of three latitude of body is presented.An efficient and definitive algorithm of polygon approximation is given.The section contours of body are processed for feature recognition by using the given algorithm,and then the feature polygons of three latitude are extracted.Finally,their feature values are calculated by finding the convex hull of these feature polygons.The scheme has been implemented in a general garments CAD system.
