A NEW REAL TIME TRANSACTION SCHEDULING POLICY

A new real time transaction scheduling policy is presented, which includes the improved priority assignment scheme——HAED and the concurrency control algorithm based on HAED. An extended algorithm using a nested transaction model is discussed. Simulation experiments are conducted to examine the performance of the new policy. The results of the experiments show that the new policy can offer better overall performance than the previous policy in some aspects.
