DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF FDDI ADAPTER BASED ON SIMILAR PIPELINE ARCHITECTURE
FDDI adapter is the most important basic component of FDDI computer network. This paper presents the hardware/software design idea and implementation method of the FDDI adapter. The similar pipeline architecture of the hardware system is discussed. The hardware logical block diagram and the software module are also given.
