The Study of the Output of Pseudo Continuous Tone Image

With the development of output equipments of high resolution dot matrix, the showing method of forming false medium grey scale image by the colour dot of bi-level (black/white) is widely being valued, in the field of computer image processing. Fixed pattern and Dither are typical methods. This paper not only introduces the basic processing ways from grey level image to bi-level image, but also gives a lot of practical matrices. The organization of dot matrices and the realization methods and their relationships are also discussed.
