CDV AND ITS TOLERANCE OF CELL SLOT MAPPING IN ATM NETWORK
The cell delay variation （CDV） between source traffic point and UPC control point has important impact on the control of CAC and UPC. The CDV of cell slot mapping in cell based interface ATM networks is studied after analyzing the generating cause of CDV. The computing formulae and some conclusions of CDV are presented and the CDV tolerance is determined.
