Performance Analysis of Prioritized Multiprocessor Systems

This paper analyzes the effective memory bandwidth of prioritized crossbar multiproce- ssor systems.Three situations are examined:when a memory module is equally likely to be addressed by a processor,when a processor has a favorite memory,and when the memory module requests of each processor are of any distribution.Finally,we prove that the priority hierarchy does not affect the whole effective memory bandwidth of crossbar multiprocessor systems by using the protabilistic me- thod.
